How Do I Get to the Desert?

You can come to Merzouga in many different ways!
The simplest and lowest-cost option is to catch a bus with the company Supratours. A link to their website, with schedules and prices, can be found here. You can come to Merzouga with Supratours either from Fes or from Marrakech. The bus from Fes is a night bus, leaving at 2030 and arriving in Merzouga at 0630. From Marrakech, the bus leaves in the morning at 2030, arriving in Merzouga at 2100. Both buses are operational every day of the year.
Supratours operates in every major city in Morocco, so consult their website to discover the best way to travel from your arrival city. Let us know if you're coming by Supratours so we can meet you at the bus station.

With a private tour, you will ride in comfort in a camion, with many stops along the way to take in the beautiful sights and culture of Morocco. Prices for these tours vary, depending on how many days you would like to take, and from which city you would like to start at / end in. The tours are fully customizable. It is also possible to rent a car and drive to Merzouga. Consult with your hotel or Riad upon arrival in Morocco for assistance with a car rental. Note that the drive to Merzouga from Marrakech or Fes takes between 10 - 12 hours, with breaks.
